There is nothing to be gained from wasting one's wit on the witless. He who turns his back on grace cannot be argued into graciousness. Asking a gnat to exchange its whining drone for the call of a songbird is futile: such dignity is beyond its nature.
The seething, impotent rage of the willfully ignorant poisons all with which it comes into contact. I've no need to voluntarily expose myself to such toxins. Enough.
